This article explains a novel method of speech compression and transmission. This method lessens the transmission bandwidth required for the speech signal by a very good considerable amount. This process also exploits the feature of low pass nature of the speech signal. This method also applies equally well for any type of signal which is low pass in nature and speech being much more widely used in real time communication. As per this technique the low pass signal (speech) at the transmitter is divided into set of packets each containing N number of samples.Among these N samples per packet only few lesser number of samples say aN alone are only transmitted.
