Paper Presentation & Seminar Topics: Bubble Power

Bubble Power

Abstract : (Seminar) This paper presents a new way to create fusion reactions, by applying sound waves to a deuterium rich liquid ---now known as "sonofusion", which incorporates sound waves to implode tiny bubbles filled with deuterium vapor resulting in violent collapse between the bubbles which initiates the fusion reaction. Researchers are using enormous lasers or powerful magnetic fields to trigger limited fusion reactions. We are yet to identify economically viable fusion reactor technologies that consistently produce more energy than it consumes. We can use sonofusion technique to replace the present existing fusion technology. The sonofusion apparatus, which we suggest is considerably simpler and cheaper means of studying thermo nuclear fusion.
