Abstract : seminar The analogy with the adaptation of image processing median filters is discussed. The adaptive filter based on the median comparison transconductance, saturation current which is adapted to act as a local weight operator. transistor-level simulations have shown excellent results in eliminating the effects of noise. An image of 249 × 209 pixels, corrupted with 35% salt and pepper noise, is used to test the adaptive median filter. All simulations were made with the BSIM3 level 49 'model and 1.2 MGRM MOSIS technology parameters.
