EPA Nanotechnology White Paper

Abstract : Seminar In December 2004, the EPA? S Science Council has established a working group responsible for inter-agency description of the main scientific EPA should consider to ensure that the company recognizes the important benefits of environmental protection that nanotechnology may offer, and to better understand potential risks of exposure to nanomaterials in the environment. This document is a product of this working group. The purpose of this document is to inform EPA management of science and the needs associated with nanotechnology, to support the EPA program office needs, and communicate the science of nanotechnology stakeholders and the public.
