Nanotechnology in Potential Food Applications

Abstract : Seminar All organizations represent a consolidation of nano objects of different sizes. The atoms and molecules combine to form dynamic structures and systems that are components of the life of every organization. For membranes of humans, hormones, and DNA are examples of vital structures of cells that measure in nanometers region. In fact, living organism on earth is due to the presence and interaction of different nanostructures. Although the molecules of foods such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats are the result of mergers at the nano-scale between sugars, amino acids and fatty acids. When it comes to food, nanotechnology involves the use of biological molecules such as sugars or proteins as target groups for recognition of nanostructures that can be used, such as biosensors in food.
