ARCHITECTURE FOR WIRELESS INTERNET

In this modern world of rapid speed communications it has become very important for a person to stay tuned to internet wherever possible. To fulfill this type of needs of the people WAP is used. Using WAP any website can be viewed in simple hand-held devices, WAP enabled devices. This is made possible by using various communication methods like GSM, CDMA etc. Recently a new form of Wireless Internet called 1xEV-DO has been adopted which is being billed as the basis for the next generation high speed wireless internet access system. In this article we briefly discuss the working of a typical WAP enabled system and later review as to how the recently adopted 1xEV-DO outperforms the existing architectures. We also study its compatibility with different types of operating systems and its efficient utilization of the bandwidth with minimum usage.Many people around the globe use the Internet every day for communicating with other people , following stock market, knowing latest news,weather, shopping, entertaining themselves . Staying online has become so nenessary that it’s hard to get away from internet connection because we might miss an important e-mail message or any news we need to know.
