Abstract: (seminar) Z-Wave is powered wireless technology has been designed specifically for remote control applications. Unlike Wi-Fi and other wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11, which was designed primarily for high-bandwidth data transmission, Z-Wave RF system is working part-GHz frequency band and is optimized for commands light, as on-off (such as light switch or appliance), and increased lower-(like volume control or thermostat) with the ability to add meta data communication device. Since the Z-Wave operates in addition to the crowded 2.4 GHz frequency, is little affected by interference from a common family of wireless electronics that operate in this area. Z-Wave is the same area (900), some mobile phones and would be prone to interference from these devices.
